There's still none in Vaiden either. No power, no water. It's bad there and probably where you are as well. It was just as bad there as it was in Oxford.
Neghbor's father lives in Batesville...... still out as of testerday . Taked to a lady in Greenwood today who just got hers back yesterday.
Damn, boys, sorry to hear that. That's way too long to go without power in 2026. Hope it comes back on for you soon and stay safe.
I should have posted this a week ago. Power restored 20 mins ago!

In all seriousness, you fellas that live a few hundred feet (or more) from your neighbors, check on them. The Guard was doing health/welfare checks when they started in but MEMA got upset and told us to cancel. Them being the holders of the purse strings….we’ll do what we’re told but we ain’t gotta like it.

Odd, I just got two text from Entergy within the last two hours, saying that my power would be back on tomorrow, but it's been on since last Sunday evening. But, I know they are working on it, And I am thankful that IT was on.

Lots of tree damage. Our land is off I-55 just inside of Carroll County between West and Vaiden. It’s like a war zone. Going to take time to clean up.
We're just south of the Grenada line and got it too, but nothing compared to North MS.
I went over 2 weeks in 1994 in Desoto Co. Had to move out and go live with some friends in Memphis until power was restored. Some people went months in the Delta before getting power back. I was lucky this time though....it almost got us.
Some of you might wanna consider investing in a home generator. Rarely needed but sure nice to have
