It seems Girodos has entered the officially unofficial lexicon.

108 national championships. I bet no one knew that's how many UCLA had before they won their very first in baseball.

I knew they had basketball history, but I didn't realize the majority of their championships are in things like water polo...I'm not sure if I'm jealous of that or not.

I think its absurd. They should count the primary sports. In a sport like water polo, you can call the championship "national" but how many colleges play it? How many states are actually represented by a team?

Yep. Their baseball team is legit and the bball stuff is impressive, but when i heard the announcer declaring the awesomeness of the 109 championships and then subsequently saw for what sports, it just wasn't quite as impressive. Don't get me wrong, I want to win in everything. Absolutely everything. Just some disparity between the glowing announcers and the reality of what those championships actually stand for...more than anything, it probably points out the difference in regional sports interests that have MSU with the top ten baseball attendance stats and UCLA averaging 750 at home.

60 Intentional Walks in High School

My submissions:

60 Intentional Walks in High School
- for any questionable stats on a recruit, that may or may not be true, but are continually repeated by everyone.

Mike Patrick said, all in one game (think it was the second OSU game):
Wes Rea, 6'5", 265
Wes Rea, 6'5", 270
Wes Rea, 6'5", 275
** Can be shortened to "265/270/275" for Lexicon purposes.
- to refer to any urban legend/rumor on this board that continues to grow without hard evidence.

There's just something about Omaha...
- to refer to anyone who wonders/gets mad/doesn't understand when a coach leaves MSU/Starkville for a bigger, better paying job somewhere else.
