quality big men are lacking in the SEC, and Bammer is tough in the paint.
They have already played their 2 toughest West opponents away and are 3-1, losing a close one to UPig
Road games @Tenn, @Vandy, @Fla, will be tough

But if they hold serve at home, they can sweep LSU, Aubarn, Mississippi, and State.

Bammer looks like an 11 win SEC team this year, maybe 12

East race?

The East is evenly matched and will beat each other up.

Kentucky has 2 losses and still has trips to Tenn, Vandy, Fla, SC

Hard to believe a mid-major coach like Grant could come in and win an overall SEC title in just his 2nd season.

KY, Tenn, Vandy in my opinion have been over rated all year. The SEC just sux this year in basketball.

Hell of a long way to go on that but the wins against UK and @MSU were certainly unexpected so they have put themselves in a great position with some very winnable games coming up. Grant does have them playing some outstanding defense and Jamychal Green is starting to look like the best big man in the SEC other than Thompkins for Georgia.

until it actually happens? It's a long season, lots can happen. Alabama, like most of the SEC, is very average.

They are pretty run of the mill, they can't run a half court offense and can't shoot 3's.

Just cannot imagine this scenario happening. If the overall conference champ does not make the NCAA tournament then no team in the SEC should make it no matter what their RPI is. I realize the SEC is not very good but I doubt many regular season conference champs ever get snubbed unless they are from the SWAC or an equivalent conference.

but we arent winning the SEC, so it wont matter

I think we have a much better chance of losing the next 5 in a row than we do winning the conference

Sadly I agree with you. We could very easily be in for a long losing streak. I know it was Bost and Sidney's first game together but the memory of that Bama game is burned into my brain. There was no reason to lose the way we did.

because our offense really came around...I think he was still giddy and half-drunk from the bowl game, but was a great gesture on his part

I'll still make a contribution to the "DS stadium-seating mancave" though

Coach34, Inc has put that on hiatus due to lack of an IT department

There is a new project that just got started though...should be fun
