I think DeBoer could be fired mid year…

Ridiculous. Except for the last part. Big 10 is looking the best conference so far, pending outcome of the playoffs.
The SEC has a softness issue. Has been a problem since 2020. Georgia isn’t soft and neither is Texas for the most part but the other 14 teams are and it’s shown the last 4 seasons and the Big 10 has surpassed the league

Satan lost to Michigan too. I hate that Alabama won a game this year. Every loss they have is pure enjoyment for 90% of the people that watch their games. If it continues it will be 95% of the people watching and some will get injured jumping off the band wagon.

DeBoer had a better first year record than Saban did. But he also inherited a better team, although some transferred out when Saban quit.
With the transfer environment now, there's no "inheriting" teams. You could have a couple dozen future NFL draft picks as underclassmen before you take the job and they can all be gone before your opening press conference.

I think he was a bit out of his element but he's a solid coach. If Bama fires him we should immediately fire Lebby and bring in DeBoer.

We would have to sell Dudy Noble to afford his buyout

The only thing I know is that finally they aren’t dominant anymore and of course that happens when they are off our schedule. I fully expect them to be reloaded and back on top by the time we play them again.

His buyout is over $70mm & the days of big contracts being absorbed are over due to NIL, they're stuck with him. DeBoer lost his OC to the Seahawks and that's who made Washington and all those other schools good under Deboar. He's in over his head at Alabama.
