I think it has now become apparent...

that Croom's days are limited. Good guy, hard worker, but pretty obviously now head man in the SEC material. We're making the same mistakes that we made in year one and there's really little to point to as being positive.

Being a good guy does not make a good HC. He was a political hire when we had a hard time finding someone to take over a prgram in shambles. I could only hope that he would lerarn what it takes to become a head coach but its just not in him at this point. Watch his teams and they just do not look organized and there is shortage of leadership. The glimpse of hope that was shown last year can not happen in 4 year cycles. Either build on the success or move on. Good coaches should not have this type of season in their 5th year (especially after a somewhat successful 4th year). In management you are in charge of making tough decisions and making the right decsions when it counts. He may be a good guy....just not a good Head Coach. MSU should cut their losses and began assembling the money to make the buy out at the end of the year. If this game continues on its current plane, you could reel in some good dollars this afternoon and plop it into a Good Guys Finish Last fund for Croom.

He won't fire incompetent subordinates to save his job.

He's set up a confrontation with Byrne that he's bound to lose.

.....guts(and the money) to fire him, the next coach will at least be inheriting a not-so-bad foundation. I actually think Croom will leave the team in decent enough shape at its base for a competent coach to be successful in a relatively short amount of time.

That team out there today is almost as bad as Sherrill's last team, talent-wise. And we still have discipline problems and guys getting kicked off the team, etc. There has been very little progress. A new guy will have to come in and start from scratch again.

If that's the case, can you please send Pegues, Dixon, Elliot, Bowman and Fitzhugh over to Oxford? Thanks.

had some talent as well. Croom ran some of it off (most of it should've been run off). Croom inherited Norwood and some other decent players. But to be in year 5, and you're only able to name 4 or 5 players you'd like to have in Oxford... well... that speaks volumes.

We had a walk-on QB, two walk-on WRs, and a walk-on TE on the field at the same time a few minutes ago. And OL personnel Miss. Valley wouldn't want.

Great Year 5 improvements.

Croom inheritied FOUR Parade All-Americans. Now, do we have one?

He ran off the "bad apples" and recruited "quality people". Meanwhile, the arrest rate remains unchanged.

Dubose had integrity? If you think he has/had integrity then you must be the most morally bankrupt individual on this board (and that's saying a lot).
