I was in PANIC mode!!!!!

I just got back to the board from being gone all morning. I expected to see some posts about Mullen talking to Miami and was looking forward to the read. Instead, what do I find? WIDE SPREAD PANIC!!!!

All I was seeing was post after post about Mullen leaving and what coaches to go after next. I was thinking that Mullen had taken the Miami job. I even went to State's athletic website looking for the official announcement that Mullen was leaving.

Then I scrolled down a little further and saw that all the hype was just over Urban resigning. WTF!!!!!!

Come on people, quit acting like Chicken Little and screaming about the sky falling!!!!!! Are y'all going to freak out each time a coach gets canned or quits somewhere????

He was in Lowe's buying Christmas lights today. Right there is your proof that he's staying. Why would he be buying Christmas lights if he was packing up to move. It's that simple. He's here to stay!!

I don't think Dan will be interested in the job. Is it because he was the OC there for a few years that people just expect him to want to scamper right back to Florida? If I remember correctly, when he took the job here, the Florida fans were glad he was gone. It wasn't until after we beat them at the swamp and when they saw the Gators sucking that they had second thoughts.

Even though I dislike Slive and don't think he has much care for MSU. I do believe that he would discourage SEC schools from stealing each others head coaches.

I'm more worried about Miami than I am about him going to Florida and I don't think he'll go to Miami.
