1) The roster is extremely unknown. Currently no PG, Moultrie left, Sid left, Deville left. Not to mention you have to come in and secure a bunch of current commits and try and get Pollard. This first few years look like a daunting task and is a lot of immediate work to be done.
2) Stansbury still hanging around. I think this one could really be a big issue. I'm sure some of these younger guys want to put their mark on the program, and with Stansbury still around they may be afraid to pull the trigger because they are afraid of interference.
Now some may feel I'm off base with #2, but I think #1 is really hurting us right now. I just wonder if an unknown roster like that is turning these guys off. Anyone care to weight in or tell me if I'm off base? Feel free to add any other situations you may feel are causing us to strike out on guys like Prohm and Bryce Drew that would be taking a decent step up coming to MSU from where they currently are.
