never talks about this:

MSU and USM playing a game at Trustmark Park. This is a HECK of a lot more realistic than football, and I know that I would go.

UM and USM have played for the past few years, and the game draws pretty well it seems. Not as well as the Gov. Cup, but a good crowd.

The only stipulations I have are: Not the same week as the Gov. Cup. and we still play USM two games a year, one on campus, alternating sites like we do now and one at the Tee-Pee.

I thought at one time, the series was one at Starkville, one at Hattiesburg and one at Smith-Wills. Then it became two games in either Starkville or Hattiesburg every year. Maybe I don't remember that right. I know at one time, MSU came to Hattiesburg for one game every year.
