Why don't you people go to the Arkansas message boards, what is the obsession with CC and Ark. you act like a jilted girfriend, this post had nothing to do with CC and Ark.
Why don’t scroll on by and piss off I didn’t start the Ark BS in this thread so start with that person. Good day to you

The problem is, Cal has no interest in bettering his coaching staff. He wants yes-men. And the problem is deeper than just X and O deficiency… it’s scouting deficiency. Cal has long held the belief that if his players “be the best version of themselves”, then he isn’t concerned about what the other team is doing/going to do.

Jon Robic was Cal’s best assistant, largely because he was in charge of the scout. When he was forced out after his daughter’s untimely death, Cal’s tenure at Kentucky went steeply downhill.

Did you see Tyler Herro torch the Bulls last night? Think about this: Cal had Herro, PJ Washington, Keldon Johnson, Nick Richards, and Reid Travis on the same team and couldn’t even get to the FF. That’s 4 current NBA players (two of them stars) and another guy who was a 2x first-team all-Pac10.

Another year he had 5 first-round picks, including 3 future NBA all-stars, and got beat be a drunk coach and a midget guard who’s now coaching the Celtics.

Cal is not a bad person. But he is horrifically stubborn and conceited, doesn’t take criticism well at all, and doubles down on poor decisions.
Cal has won like 100 games in his college career without Robic..

The obsession with CC on this board is ridiculous! Thankfully he's gone from Kentucky!! I don't see why someone brings him up in SO many threads (even ones that have NOTHING to do with him).

Haven't kept up much the last couple of days. What's the word on Ian now?

It did suck to scroll through the last couple of pages and not see anything about him.

Casmir Chavis was one of the oddest things I've ever seen Cal do. Chuck Martin was given some AWFUL information on this kid. He was a big name player locally in Twin Cities since he was 13/14. Problem is he peaked at 15 yrs old. Didn't put in work, had a horrible attitude and is best known for tricking a layup in the State Championship game that would've won the game and losing in OT. Body Language, attitude, work ethic are all beneath an F- and he was one of the first players dumped by the new Washington coach when they finally fired Hopkins.

Nobody in Twin Cities understood Arkansas taking this guy. I'll never forget talking with 2 different people who were at Pangos Camp (one was from outside of MN and other was a local Twin Cities guy who gushes about anything in this state) and they said he was so bad at the Camp that people thought it was a charity case.

I'm guessing Calipari asked Martin "WTF are you doing?" after a week of having him on the roster.
After all the injuries they had he never came close to getting in a game either.

More loaded than KY.
And you can be honest the game that mattered most last season was beating Cal in your arena for 99.9% of your fans and we made them start leaving before the game was over!
Put me in the .1%.

I have little to no idea why the saltiness was allowed to way, way over emphasize a regular season game against a near bottom of the league squad.

I was only bummed about the home loss.

I feel bad for DJ. He seems like a good guy.
Just a couple of years ago he was everyone’s #1 player in High School and now he’s likely to be benched for incoming Freshmen at a school with a mediocre roster.
I always like DJ, he played pretty well last year and is in a weird spot. With Cal we all know he likes to push guys out and Wagner isn’t ready to be pushed out but will likely be his best guard next year at least early on.
