Back then, obviously, there wasn't near the level of documentation that exists today. So, all they had was second or third hand reports of violence, abuse and atrocities, unless they were there, witnessing it. So, it could be more understandable that someone may mistakenly be supporting those evil folks ... because they just didn't "know" for sure it was happening.
Today, we see what Trump's Second Reich is doing. You can see the violence. You can see the overreach. You can see the inhumanity. You can see the lies and manipulation. And supporters are literally just saying the opposite of what they see. Or just relishing in what they see.
This is completely phucked.

Bad?!! They pumped ten (10) bullets into him, nine of which were fired after he was laying there prone on his back, and likely already dead. Then there's the bystander video showing an ICE officer removing his gun (which he was carrying legally) and tossing it to the side, all before they pumped those ten (10) bullets into him. Finally, there's the bystander video showing the ICE agents lifting his corpse, searching for a gun, and exclaiming "Where's the gun?" Whoops, no gun.
Good luck to these ICE thugs in defending the criminal charges which are going to be filed against them. That is, unless Trump and Noem can prevent the Hennepin County and Minnesota state authorities from discovering the identities of these masked thugs.

Watching a former FBI special agent talk about this case and he is going off on the ridiculous lies being spewed by Noem/Bovino.
He rightly points out that if the murdered man had shown up on scene brandishing a weapon towards agents then an immediate firefight would have ensued instead of random brownshirts pushing the woman down next to him and spraying her in the face. They clearly weren't worried about this guy being armed (which is his 2A right) on the scene, and he didn't do anything towards them on video that indicates he was a threat.
This retired agent also said he carries a gun at all times and that it's total ******** the way these clowns are acting as if this victim was guilty of something criminal just because he chose to exercise his 2A rights.
He also said when he first saw the videos that he thought they were AI generated because they were so obviously different from the narrative that DHS was pushing.
