Okay coach. Settle down with these posts. I’m sure the staff will try to find a balance but unfortunately there’s no magic elixir for lingering injuries.

At this point in the season practices aren't physically demanding. Its as the OP said mostly film, walk throughs and shooting drills.
Throw in something fun too. After my last preseason practice before the opener I'd order pizza and we'd all watch "Hoosiers" together.

This was my thought.
Are they really going through extensive practices this late in the season?
It’s not like we’re installing new offensive or defensive philosophies.

Paul especially just seems to need a brief break from practicing to mentally reset himself before the Michigan game. Some safe, fun activity to get his mind away from basketball and school work. When sport become such a mental struggle, a brief break to recharge is often exactly what is needed to just mentally reset, and to stop forcing things too much and get that flow back.
