Let me guess... you think blacks put themselves in ghettos decades ago... and arrested themselves at extremely high rates (even tho whites commit crimes at the same rates) and started a druf war against themselves and imported drugs into thwir communities (tyrone doesn't have a poppy field) you think they segregated themselves and discriminated themselves financially and economically for decades, they probably hung themselves and commiteed hate crimes against themselves too, right?
I think lots of blacks start out disadvantaged (not oppressed) for a number of reasons, mainly due to fatherless homes created by the welfare state that incentivized black mothers to marry the government. LBJ, look him up. It was a way for liberal politicians to garner votes by peddling soft bigotry to the masses.
As far as segregation, if you take a look at the new black movement, especially at universities, it's white liberals and blacks themselves that are now pushing for the return of segregation.
The main issue within the black community isn't oppression. Plenty of African Americans make it just fine and start at poverty. In minority oppressed nations you can't do that. So learn what you're talking about.
The problem is, you're looking for someone to blame when personal responsibility and family would correct 90% of this issue, but you don't care to solve the issue. You're just like the rest that want to complain and keep the wheels of victimhood moving. It makes you feel important.
What's going to happen is we are going to continue down this path, and the only people it's hurting are lower income whites and lower income blacks. What you're doing is great to get white liberals elected, create divisions etc all while the problem, the real problem, goes unchecked. Eventually there will be no one left to blame, and it's going to be a rude awakening for guys like you.
The problem is the AA community is family and culture. Take a look at Asian Americans. The prosper more than whites and are more of a minority than African Americans. Why is that? Becuse of family. Statistically if you look at black crime, drop out rates, fatherless homes, etc you'll see the issue is within the accepted culture. Crime and drop out rates were far lower for blacks during a time when this country was FAR more racist. Why is that?
Whites and other ethnic groups cannot fix these issues. It must come from within. If you find an injustice, then tackle it. But there's not many to find. One I would agree with is the criminal drug enforcement aspect, but I wouldn't go as far as saying crack and heroin dealers are "victimless crimes". They have ravaged the black communities.
If you really cared you'd open your mind to these ideas. We've got 6,000 dead black men over the course of the last decade in liberal ran cities of turmoil, and you want to blame it on people that have nothing to do with it and a ghost called oppression.
Deal with be problem. The probable problem. You want to avoid the data and look to a feeling. The results will never change.
