Based on on-court results and we had Ole Miss's basketball program.
To me, the only stat that matters is 7 out 8 seasons - he didn't make the tourney and the one season he did - he needed the SEC Tournament to do it. I don't care about facilities. Your job is to win.
Probably yes. The difference between being terrible and being one of the first 10 teams out of the tournament isn't very big to me. Might as well roll the dice on getting lucky with a new coach.
That said, I would say Kennedy has met reasonable expectations. He's not great, he's not bad, which is exactly what they should expect. If they're not going to commit some resources and attention to basketball, they can't expect to do much better than he has. If you like being a bubble team but not making the tourney a lot better than being terrible, then you probably shouldn't fire him unless you have a good replacement lined up. I think Michael White or even the USM guy would qualify though.
You'd think Marshall would also have to count against him. If you're going to have a crack head embarrassment on your team, it should really be a tourney team. I would gladly have Marshall on a tourney team. If he's not going to make us a tourney team, I don't even want him as a fan, much less as an actual player.
