Yes, I'd agree. If the OL is great, the offense is probably going to be pretty damn good. My point is the TE position doesn't carry as much as weight. What's worse, having no tight ends or having no d-line?

Well, that's a stupid point. DL is not one position. You can play with 0 linemen, you can play with 11 linemen. Most people play with 4 - some 3, some 5. Some coaches play DL to take up space, others to pressure the QB. The better you do both, the more important you are.

Some coaches play 0 TE, some play 3. Some TE's block, some TE's catch. The better a TE can block and catch, the more important he is.

I don't understand why you can't figure out that Samuel was important to what we want to do. He's not the most important player but he's pretty damn important the closer the offense gets to the goal-line against SEC caliber defenses. 17 Quay Evans and his lazy *** self. Anybody with his attitude regardless of the position is worthless.

That's not the point you moron. The point is that quay evans wasn't any damn good and didn't contribute but you were disappointed that he was gone, where Samuel showed that he was could have been good and you couldn't give one **** when he left
