Does that mean Staley is the next Cam? If so I hope it's more in talent than attitude. Does it mean that Fitz is the next John Brantley?

Don't know about those guys, but seems that while Dak has some Tebowesque moves, he actually has some Cam likenesses as well...would like to think that the NFL will view him as somewhat different than Tebow.

I've always thought Dak is much more like Steve McNair. Better passer, not a finesse runner but can see the field very, very well, strong as an ox, quite, low hype, no ra-ra in your face guy, but an absolute leader on the field.

How many "once-in-a-generation" QBs are we going to see? I have always been very critical of the Meyer/Mullen offense, because I don't think it works unless you have a Tim Tebow at QB. This should be a serious problem, since Tebow was such a rare talent......or so I thought. Cam and Dak just seem to be the tip of the iceberg of potential Tebow clones. I guess we still have a problem if Mullen fails to sign a good Tebow style QB every other year or so, because it just doesn't seem like Damian Williams is the guy.

The QB position is evolving much like the spread and no huddle/up tempo offense. At this level, the dual threat adds a dimension that makes it very attractive to recruit a durable playmaker who can make plays with his feet as well as his arm. I think you'll see more and more of them being developed by the high school ranks as time goes on.

Yeah the style of football is already starting to change. Our school has always been a running team but the last 5 years have moved to spread. There will be a lot more qb's to choose from in the coming years

McNair comparsion is a good one...Had not thought of that one.....basically same size ...Saw McNair a lot as a pro and think their vision, toughness and running ability is similar. McNair was a better passer but I did not see him as a college senior either.

Dak could very well be our Manning.....
