Thanks for the info, Galax is coming off their bye week so that isn't an option for them. I don't see how they play the game Friday if it rains like they say it is going to. I guess we will have to play on a Monday.

If they can't play Monday, games might be wiped off schedule, which will screw some teams playoff points. VHSL should have told schools to play tonight.

Our JV team once played a make-up game on a Monday night and then turned right around and played their regularly-scheduled game that Wednesday. These kids are young and can adapt and in most cases, they would rather play a game than practice. So I doubt if it will get to a point where anybody has to cancel a game. Most of them could not stand the loss of gate revenue.

Duke Football was offering half price tickets this weekend..... If schools were smart they would just not charge admission tonight and hope to recoup it at the concession stand.

VHSL can't tell schools when to play or not to cancel/postpone. Are you serious?

It is unsafe to play 2 football games with only a day between them (especially for smaller schools with less numbers). Bodies, even kids bodies, need time to recover. I'm surprised with all the new information and data our there that some of you don't realize that. Some schools dress members of their JV teams who might also end up playing in varsity contests on special teams or in blow outs. Safety should be the #1 concern.
