Isn’t it true that we’ve received the opening kick 13 out of 13 games under Lebby?

I've heard Lebby say he will take the ball first if he wins the toss, the other team seems to always defer. I would rather settle into the game and receive 2nd half kickoff everytime.
Same. Seems like the opening energy of a game benefits defenses. I could be wrong.
It’s just smart to defer. It’s the only way you have a chance to get back-to-back possessions.
I think it’s just overrated. You’re going to receive first each half. If you’re confident in your offense why not try to go up 7-0 early. Especially as bad as our defense was last year.

Better than the game where the opposing team won the toss, deferred, and Jackie elected to play defense. Gave them the ball to start both halves.
