If they manage to beat the Buckeyes, I would imagine they’ll clean the bracket. The Buckeyes are stout, and that’s putting it lightly. Especially that defense.
Caveat - Neither of those teams has a ton to play for on Saturday. If OSU is content to play vanilla and avoid injuries, I could see Indiana pulling it out, but not necessarily think that same outcome would repeat in a CFP setting.

Ohio State did not dominate Texas at home and Texas was not the best team in the SEC. I am not saying the SEC is a better conference I am just saying the field has been level across all of college football to a point that Indiana is in the position they are in. I do think GA might be the only SEC team that will not get embarrasses. The SEC has six team that as below 500. It was not a great conference, but Texas was in the hunt and Ohio State did not blow them out. Texas could have won that game.
Where teams were in in the first week is not where they are now, especially with freshman qbs. Carr for ND is a different player early on and right now ND is a team nobody would want to draw. That’s true for Manning and Sayin also.
It would be pretty darn impressive to me if IU can beat Ohio State. Ill take OSU and Bama this week.
This should go without saying but it is pretty short sighted to judge a team in December by how they player in the season opener.
If IOU betas OSU this weekend there should be a rematch and then OSU should make them cry for mamma. Now that that is said OSU will be in the finals against....

They've played 2 teams that are currently in the CFB Top 25 poll: Texas & Michigan.
Neither of those teams are going to make the 12 team playoff. I don't understand how anyone can be completely sold on Ohio State when they've yet to face a playoff caliber team.
So what team do you think is better than OSU ? Who is better on the LOS ? Has a better defense ? Has a better pair of receivers?

I honestly don't know who the best team is. It could be Ohio State, but I can't be certain of that because they've yet to face any other playoff caliber teams. If you gave me the field or Ohio State, I'd take the field.
Vegas is pretty smart and they have Ohio State above everybody else for a reason.
I saw something saying they didn't have a single 4 star on that team. Can that be possible ? Winning with 3 stars and FCS players.
SEC makes more money from that championship game than it does from any bowl game. A lot more.
Yes, they also want it to result in more SEC teams positioned well in the playoffs.

Indiana hands down looked better on the lines of scrimmage. Ohio State couldn’t get their running game going and their pass protection was suspect all night. Ohio State has better WRs, but it looked like the Hoosiers were better everywhere else.
Ohio State still has far and away the most talent in the country and will be the odds on favorite to win it all. You can say the big ten has the top two teams right now
They have them there because more people have bet on them than any other team. Thats the ONLY reason
Really, so before any opponent was announced and no line is set Vegas makes OSU the odds on favorite to win it…because, they are deemed the team that is most likely to win it all, in other words the best team in the eyes of the oddsmakers, lol
by the way Ohio State is still the odds on favorite to win it all, as of this morning Notre dame was 4th, of course they were excluded for political/financial reasons
Thet do use stats and stuff to guesstimate what the betting public will come in on. But after all opening betting determines every bit of it.
This is as inaccurate as anything I’ve seen here. And that’s tough to do Google machine could help you a lot.
