If Nick Saban couldn't stop the Malzahn offense, then nobody will...

...Missouri knew what the hell was coming and still their defense can't do a damn thing about the Auburn running game. Hell, I bet Missouri's Defensive staff even knows the Auburn play calls by now, but they still can't tackle the Auburn run game in space or between the tackles. Its amazing, this damn Auburn team seems to be a team of destiny, nobody has gotten all the breaks and the luck like this team. Must be like cloud 9 being a damn Auburn fan this season and right now. I hate Auburn but I would still sacrifice my hate for the SEC to get Auburn into the National Championship.

I hate auburn. They are the last team I wanted to see in this position, but whatever. It'll never be us that gets to watch football like this so I've stopped caring.

Auburn is to fast for FSU. And they will out score the Noles. JMHO. I want to see Bama/FSU? FSU to win.

Did you not seen what LSU's defense did to Auburn this season? On top of that, just compare the job LSU's defense has done against Manziel the past 2 years compared to Saban's defense? Malzahan is an incredible offensive coach, yet he isn't unstoppable which has already been seen this year.

LSU? Has everyone forgotten what WE did to Malzahn's offense? 120 rushing yards.

Yes I remember, I also remember when Gus had Cam at QB and we held them to 17 points. I completely respect the body of work that Malzahan has done in his years of coaching as an assistant and now young head coaching career. I think it is dumb when fans believe that if Saban cannot hold a team then no one can. Saban has only one undefeated season in his career as a college head coach. Success in the SEC can happen for anyone, yet you will be stopped at some point.

Auburn is much better than when we played them. Would probably beat the hell out of us tomorrow.

Mississippi State is also much better than it was when it played Auburn. Yeah, Auburn would probably win, but improvement goes both ways.

I didn't know we had Desmond Howard posting on the SixPack. Did our season simply get put on pause since our game against Auburn? I agree with whoever says that Auburn's offense is developed and knows the playbook at this point in the season. I also agree with whomever mentions Auburn's bagman is bigger than ours. On the other hand, I disagree that we would get throttled by them if we were to play Auburn tomorrow. Please elaborate as to why we would be thumped by Auburn at this point in season versus earlier in the season?

Malzahn's offense will get figured out. They all do. We used to think the Wishbone was unstoppable, and now no one runs it. Meyer's offense has been figured out, and Chip Kelly's offense gets slowed down by the right defenses. (i.e., Stanford). So, in a couple of years the SEC defensive gurus will shut down Malzahn's offense.

The question is, what will Malzahn do when that happens? I think he can adapt. I don't really care much for Malzahn's offense, but I am genuinely impressed with the way he runs his team. They never give up, and they find ways to win. He knows how to control the tempo of the game, and manage the clock and the end of each half. And he can recruit. I think he will be around a while.

This is what ulitimately worries me about Mullen. I'm not part of the "fire Mullen" crowd, but I have no faith that he can run a successful program once he figures out that his offense cannot win.
