Charlie Strong? Austin? Nix? Who would come on board this late? Does he coach the bowl game? So many questions...... I think they promote Kent Austin. It would save recruiting somewhat and the players would have such a shock to the system. What say you?

I think his interest is legit. I think and have heard the Saban factor is playing a big part in his decision. Not to mention Petrino and Mullen have to potential to make him look bad.

Exactly right....this is nothing more than a power struggle point blank. And Nutt has the fanbase completely behind him, and Andy Kennedy as well. There's a lot of stuff that both coaches were told by Boone that would done for them, and none of these things have happened.
Unfortunately for us, Boone is gonna be out one way or the other, I think. Boone will either resign for the betterment of the University, or if he forces Nutt's hand and he takes a job elsewhere (Kansas, etc), Boone will get canned.

I don' think they want to put up with his pandering for a raise every year bull ****. They may call his bluff on this one and let him go. I love it.
They pulled Houston from Arkansas when the fans were grumbling at him; could they pull Richt from Georgia now that the fans are grumbling at him? It's not like they haven't done it before, and let's face it- some of us were really surprised that they pulled him over to UM.
