If OU and aTm come over, Tx will almost have to come to SEC..

After reading the history of the Southwest Conference, and seeing how they controlled the Big 12. Please don't let them come.
The only reason Tx tries to drag the other schools with them, is because it provides block votes to support the Tx cause.
Tx has very little real power if they go anywhere by themselves, that is why they want an entourage.
Been reading the Tx, TxAM, and Nebraska boards a little the last day or so. Tx is the equivalent of a high Maintenance, Conniving *****.

Texas does not want to be a part of the SEC. They can use the "academics" excuse all they want but it is solely because they would not be the big dog in the pen and calling all the shots in the conference.
If they looked at it from an economic standpoint, coming to the SEC would make much more sense just in television ratings alone (and ratings mean dollars). Which would you rather watch?

Texas vs Arizona
or
Texas vs Alabama
Texas vs LSU
Texas vs Georgia
Texas has all the money it wants and spends about $125 million a year on it's athletic budget alone, so they would rather have a conference they dominate rather than be a member.
Just to feel better about herself and to control them. A&M may not be as sexy, but she looks pretty good and is a hell of a lot more fun to be around. Baylor wears RPGs and braces, but still wants to hang out with Texas.
At first, I thought Texas was the big prize in this thing, but after following the last few days it's obvious that they're toxic. If we can get Texas A&M we don't need Texas.
