Heck, why stop their. We should apply for the NFC East. They need some teams to bolster the division. I think we should get into a bidding war between the SEC and NFL and see which one wants us more.

The conference owns WVUs media rights besides tier 3 through 2025. WVU doesn't get them back because they change their minds. A lawsuit to try and do so would take years to be resolved and in the meantime, WVU wouldn't get any media rights revenue. This could easily get into the $100 plus million range by the time the lawsuit was resolved. On top of that $100 plus million, WVU would have to pay tens of millions more in exit fees to the BIG 12.

WVU isn't going to attempt to do anything like that and for what? The SEC can't pay them as much as they would lose to make it even a draw.
