If Tebow completes that pass, John Fox gets fired

and they need to give him the rest of the season to see what he can do- they are going nowhere with Orton at QB

he can create a "spark" when the other team doesn't gameplan to face him but over the course of NFL games when he's the focus of the defensive gameplan, his accuracy is much too suspect. The Chargers let everybody hang around so I didn't take anything from that game.

but the verdict is in on Orton. That much we do know. I think they would be stupid not to give Tebow the rest of the season and then figure out the direction they need to go for QB after the season

Tebow only completed 40% of his passes when the other team didn't gameplan against him.

He can run, though. It's a matter of time before someone like Ed Reed blows him up.

you can't win in the NFL with a QB who struggles to complete 50% of his passes.. you just can't. Tebow's completion percentage in the NFL is not quite 49%.. that's not good enough.. not even close. And I know it's a relatively small sample size but the problems with his mechanics are apparent. The huge windup, spotty football placement, suspect footwork.. being "a winner" can't correct any of that.
Being a Bronco fan, I might actually like to see them start Tebow and maybe we can get in on the Andrew Luck sweepstakes... let him sit behind Orton a year or two (and hopefully accumulate some high draft picks to fix the defense).

Mark May said it best this weekend when he said Luck is an athletic Peyton Manning. I pretty much agree with you about Tebow, but one thing you have to factor in is that he has a way of making everyone else raise the level of their game. His teammates respond to him like nobody I've ever seen.

A team that lets their Defense win ballgames and their Offense not loose.<div>
</div><div>Teabow is a winner. Put him on a team whose D keeps them close no matter what (maybe the jets aren't the best example this year) and he will pull out his fare share of Ws. He isn't skilled enough to win 10 games himself, but on the right team he could win a championship. Denver is not that team.</div>

I think Luck is an excellent college player.. I don't think he's the same level of player that Manning was coming out of college (but very few are)... you never know how the transition will work from college to pros. I didn't think there was any way Ryan Leaf wouldn't be at least a good pro.. and we see how that went. I think Luck is a little better Matt Ryan, which isn't too shabby mind you. But as #1 picks go at the QB position, I think he is about as safe as
you can get.. I know I'd take him over The Mule in a heartbeat.
