...to recommend someone for their job and things morphed into them coming after him and him turning them down numerous times before they got him, then why don't we find out who Greg was (supposedly) calling to recommend to Arizona? Wouldn't that be like Greg's endorsement?

Scott's a great guy, no doubt, and has paid some dues. Is he our guy? Man, I don't know.

I have no problem with a National search and in fact welcome it. Scott is a great guy and a visionary in the same mold as Byrne. I believe that compared against other candidates the cream will rise to the top and he will be our next AD. Will I be disappointed if he isn't? No, because if that is the case Keenum will have found someone he feels is better but it will likely be someone who has little or no institutional ties or loyalty. Scott is a Bulldog and would see being AD as the pinnacle of a very young career rather than a stepping stone.</p>
