I want Bud Foster. He's been more then proven on D at VA Tech. I know everyone wants a big offensive guy. But, the guy is ready to turn over the offense to somebody to knows what he is talking about. He's been pissed at VA Tech for a while now bitching about how the offense needs to open it up. Let him go to MSU, take over the defense, and let someone run with the offense.

So...what about Foster as HC and Hudspeth (or the like) as OC??? I could get (potentially very) excited for that.

If he's a defensive minded guy that would turn over an offense to an "open it up" OC, well, maybe that would work.

but he is not going to leave Va Tech unless its for another ACC job. There were rumors about him being interviewed at Clemson after the Bowden being fired. I really don't think he is going any where. He has been a coach at Va Tech for over 21 years and the DC for over 13 seasons. I work with a guy that went there and he said everyone hates the OC but Frank won't fire him because he has been there for long time.

With the kinda jack we're throwing around, I'm just not seein' an OC/DC. Perhaps the up-and-coming-coach will have a fairly high profile OC w/him.
