It's bad enough our winningest bball coach is going out this way, let's just show the whole country (recruits included) that our fans are **** heads too.<div>

it is a shame., I agree. The team was ranked in the top 20 most of the year and the only good crowds were OM,WVU, and UK.
In the last week, Goat has preached to our fans but admitted that he doesn't buy tickets or go to games. He's also said that today's game would go a long way toward determining what he thought about Stans, since 14 years prior wasn't enough time, a statement he retracted as soon as the game was over by saying he wanted to wait until the end of the year. And now he's calling out someone for saying they would choose not to attend a game. Rick has had a bad week, but only slightly worse than Goat.
Hanmu is spending his hard earned money on this program every year as are many of us....so if he wants to express his displeasure then so be it. Sitting around acting like nothing is wrong with this horse **** of a basketball program is the absolute worst thing we can do. If you didn't figure out what Stans was made of after 14 years, I guess we couldn't expect you to know when to pull the 17ing trigger on him either.
you put it, that we have a coach that can't seem to keep highly regarding recruits from transferring, that we have a coach that has players in the stands brawling each other, that we have a team that frequently refers to their coach as Rick, that our coach has a player that he hasn't been able to get into shape in 3 years, that our players have a tendency to take to Twitter to vent their frustrations with their coach and team, that we have a team that wins or plays evenly the first half and vanishes like a fart in a tornado in the 2nd, and now that we have a team that has become a frequent topic of discussion among commentators across as you put it "the whole country" as the biggest underachieving team in recent memory. What the hell else are recruits and fans from across the country going to read on this forum that they don't already the (17) know?
I nearly did not buy season tickets for this year but I thought I would give Stansbury one more chance and for about 24 games I thought I invested wisely until the bottom fell out. I won't make the same mistake next season if Rick Stansbury is still our coach.
Especially to watch this team who are a bunch of 17ing quitters. They have no balls, no fight. They've given up, which is a reflection on the coach, but it is also a reflection on the players themselves. I'd rather have a bunch of Ben Hansbroughs who hate to lose and play like their life depends on it. Recruits don't want to 17ing play for NIT teams anyway. Unless that's the only school after them.
