Not sure what the point of movie theaters will be until movies start coming back. Thought all the big companies had postponed new releases?

Ditto. Def not going to a theatre unless a big-time film is premiering.

Andy doing a 180 on the restaurants opening is the surprise of the year. From not having a date until early June, and his asinine comment about eating w/ a mask on, he now throws out a May 22nd date. His hand puppet doctor even said a few days ago that other states were doing nothing more than a social experiment.

My hunch...
~OH, TN, and IN opening and he received massive pressure over $$ leaving the state.
~Watching tax revenue continue to go down the drain.
~Knowing he didn't want to (or couldn't) implement drastic legal measures if places started to open on their own, which was going to happen very soon.

In any event, he caved as he should have and that is a good thing.

[laughing] He did what you wanted and you still can’t be happy or even budge. Life’s too short to be so fanatical.

His phases and reopening plan makes it just difficult enough for business owners and other entities to not open up but makes more sense to stay shut down. Thus he can he can say I did open up the state and it's not my fault you can't operate under those parameters.

He’s the “leader” of the state and only caved because the other states around him forced his hand. Furthermore, he did it in a ridiculous, arbitrary manner. As much as I’ve criticized DeWine, he brought a bunch of restaurant professionals on board and let them decide on the date and the restrictions that would be put in place. Andy couldn’t be left behind, so he just threw out a date and came up with an arbitrary 33% capacity limit.

I’ve criticized DeWine and Acton, but they finally did something correctly. Beshear just followed along because he had to do something. Not going to trip over my dick to thank Daddy Andy for coming to his senses and following other states, but doing it in an arbitrary manner.

I said it's a good thing...you miss that part? Nowhere in my post indicated I am unhappy about this -- actually just the opposite, because he is probably choking on his crow as I type.

He's hyperbolic, but he's right. Andy didn't even consult with the state restaurant association... He's been arbitrary through all of this. His actual running of the government has been awful. Get a local health department executive director to speak off the record and they'll scream at how awful the state has been. They've had to find their own tests, been told no over and over on expanding testing...

All of that would go against what daddy Andy wants. He wants to keep this power as long as possible. His plan makes it extremely difficult to open up. It doesn't make it worthwhile so there a good chunk of places don't open up. Meaning Daddy Andy basically stays in control that much longer. He can also say I gave you the opportunity to open up but it's not my fault you couldn't with those guidelines.

He can take his travel ban and stick it
The reason he has to revise his travel ban? Because the previous one was determined to be unconstitutional. I wonder if the Beshear fans realize that he is enacting unconstitutional edicts?

Fake news
You people really have created a mess up there. I have been laughing at you but when you go to the bottom in the nation in job loss, that is no laughing matter..

There are some good people in Kentucky and perhaps the election of Andy is a wake up call. I am sure a large percentage wish they could vote again. But elections have results. I do feel sorry for you. #1 in job loss. Once you could say, Thank God for Mississippi but not anymore. Sad

You can stick your pity up you butt. No one in Florida can criticize anyone. You have enough problems to keep you busy. I’d saw off Florida and let float away if I could.

Ha ha. I really do feel sorry for you and pray for the good people of the state who are subject to oppression. Your history is pathetic. All of the brain power from Eastern Kentucky left 75 years ago leaving you with nothing but ashes. You elect Democrat clowns who end up millionaires stealing from the state coffers and leaving the state high and dry and in further debt. Andy Beshear has already started. He will make millions out of this pandemic. Watch and see.

So you are proud of being last in the nation in loss of jobs. A state with natural resources, a good work force and the ability to feed one and another with some of the richest farming soil on earth. But with Governors like Andy, you schools continue to be rotten, you have poverty in Eastern Kentucky and children going to bed hungry. Same as it was in 1935, 1945, 1955 and on and on. When will you ever learn. It took a Federal Judge to let your good people go back to church. Sad sad sad.

Don't forget to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and wear your mask outside and inside the house. Or you will be breaking Andy's law.
