..I'll give you one:

Yesterday, #10 LSU got 3 hits on the way to a 1-0 loss to Appalachian State.

Today, #10 LSU got 4 hits on the way to a 11-1 loss to Appalachian State.

Could you see MSU get 7 hits in 2 games vs. Appalachian State, then lose both games (and one in a blowout)?

This board would go berserk. I mean more berserk than it goes after winning 2 games over a solid Kansas squad.

of possibly taking 2 or 3 from them in Baton Rouge? Or are they just a sleeping giant waiting for us to show up so they can run us off the field like they seem to every year?

..but if the Appalachian State series is any indication, MSU should win at least 1 game @LSU.

The good part is struggling Vandy plays @Starkville in early April.

Vandy got wiped out by graduation & the draft. It is showing already.

Their chemistry as a team is not very good at the moment- they almost lost Jacoby Jones over the offseason. Lots of in fighting. There has been criticism for Manieri burning out Matty Ott's arm and others as well.

Manieri has burned some bridges on the recruiting trail as well- they are losing out on some of the better players in the state.

If they miss the NCAA's- I wouldn't be shocked at all if Manieri is fired.

That said, it is LSU and they could very well kick our ***.

Obviously, plenty of time to turn it around, but losing a series to Appalachain State in baseball in unacceptable for LSU.

including a pitcher named Mark Appel that could be the top pick in the entire draft. And then they have Kenny Diekroger at SS who is the other potential first rounder.

Personally, I still like Florida.

Vandy overscheduled. They'll probably be fine- one of their freshmen pitchers was a first round pick last year. They're young this year.

LSU will get better. They will bevery goodopponent. I thought they would come out of the gate hot due to the finish they had last year. They should have been in the NCAA and I think they got most of their team back. With that said it will turn around for them.
