I don’t know much about him, but he his ties are via Callahan and folks want “90s ties” I’m guessing. Plus, he is too untested to right this ship. If we want to be like Wisconsin, Bielema may be a better option and may be available soon. He hasn’t panned out at Arkansas, but his formula works in the B1G.
Need to remind you who Bielema offensive coordinator was at Wisconsin ....He just so happens was standing on the Wisconsin sideline last night....

Huh? Bielema also won the B1G without Chryst in 2012.
They looked the part I remember in that CCG.Only because tOSU was ineligible to play in the CCG...
Didn't take Alvarez long to hire Chryst away from Pitt.
Barry Alvarez overseas the team.. Bielema is meathead who looks bad without dad around anymore.. when Alverez actually retires Wiscy will take a step back.. he is the heart and soul of that team. They looked the part I remember in that CCG.
Not sure why this about Chryst. OP said “If we want to be like Wisconsin hire...”. Are you suggesting we hire/can hire Chryst? If he will come I say go for it. I doubt he will, so I say Bielema in the world of “Is we want to be like Wisconsin.... “. Not sure why this digressed
A former Badger football player is being groomed to replace Alvarez. Name escapes me. Was hired not too long ago.
Purdue at Wisconsin ...
Now, if the Boilermakers want to be next week's feel good story, after ISU shocked OU in Norman ...
Opportunity knocks ... not expecting it though!

Of all the changes than need to take place. Physical practices are the thing I'd most like to see. Maybe a guy gets injured here or there, but that to me is better than having a whole team be soft.Still think it comes back to the way you practice, can't play physical if you dont practice physical. No mater what system we run on offense/defense, our kids have to hit more often to make sure they have muscle memory.
Agree. While I give Riley credit for canning Banker due to lack of results (and a self admission that Iowa's practices must be bloodbaths compared to NU's), I doubt anything has been done to improve the physicality of our preparation. That's speculation on my part, but the results on the field support that speculation.Still think it comes back to the way you practice, can't play physical if you dont practice physical.
