Since downgratded to an AAF. I was stationed up on Halawa Heights at Camp Smith. 2011-2012. Pacific Command and Special Ops Command Pacific were up there as well as Marine Forces Pacific. My 3yr tour got cut short because of a school on the way to my next assignment. Swimming laps at the pool at lunchtime you could look over the parade field and down the mountain and see all of pearl / hickam the city etc. The USS Missouri moored in pearl was pointed right at you and looked about 6 inches long from that height/distance when you werent "fogged" in by the clouds. That damn pool was cold as hell most of the time, never warming up until later in the afternoon, due to the altitude and the constant clouds/mist.
I took leave one time and took the family to the big island wehre we stayed at the military camp there by the volcano. Some parts of the park were closed due to activity. No big eruption Was visible in the park, but you could see a little glimpse of lava in one of the calderas (or whatever you call it). Rented a car and drove to the top of the big dormant volcano Mauna Kea where all the telescopes are. Really wild going from sea level to 13,800 ft. Seemed like we were standing on the surface of Mars. Got to swim and feed some giant manta rays in Kona (really cool!) as well befoer heading back home.

Members of the Somali community raised the issue about 20 years ago. There is credible evidence. Easy to prove or disprove with DNA evidence. About 80% of Somali asylum applicants lied about their relatives. This would be consistent with the way that Somali's conduct their business. The fact that she denies it means nothing. What is she going to do -- admit it?
