We need to keep growing and learning as a team these next three games. But I'm so proud of Husker Nation! The team has shown great improvement and determination. And the fans have really come together! Nebraska again has a bullseye on it's back and I like that. It keeps you focused and hungry! As Riley says the special thing about winning is it makes the next game that much more important!

Hopefully they continue to improve over these next few weeks. Need to win one of Wisky/OSU or the national respect won't be there.

You can tell the respect is there already. It'll just get kicked up an extra notch if we knock off Wisconsin and or Ohio State.

I dont buy the respect piece yet. Being 4-0 against the competition we played doesnt automatically earn that respct at a high leve. Big difference betwen getting noticed and aked about in general terms and getting the national respect from coaches and those who have stakes in the national landscape of college FB. To be sure we have some coaches attention but until we make the next leap and earn that, we will be part of hw big crows of good but not great teams. Winning solves the discussion with fan loyalty and national attention.

Trust me. Herbie wouldn't be so pissy right now if it was business as usual. Riley has got everyone's attention and that equals respect.

We're not world beaters, red. Last year we lost to Illinois and Purdue. I know we shouldn't have lost to these teams and we shouldn't this year, but it goes to show that the team has to maintain focus.

Indiana is not a gimme either. I love your passion. (who was it that said "let you be you"? hmmmm...) I will personally drive up to Lincoln and kick this team square in the nuts if they look past any of these teams.

You can't go, "Look, Wisconsin!" and then get upset by Indiana. I will be really pissed off if that happens. And no, you can't guarantee that won't happen.

We're not NU of old. Not yet. However, we can get to 7-0. Stay disciplined.

One game at a time.

Hopefully being a road game will keep them extra focused and businesslike.

I'm excited to finally play Indiana in what? Our sixth year in the league?

Yes and even great teams get nailed with upsets; because its not a round ball and there are other factors too!! We have too remain on edge; so you can hope you can ramp up one of the three phases to rescue your butt when all else runs uphill - a T O philosophy.GBR
