Rich Rod either:
A) Gets fired after the Gator Bowl, sets out and collects his money....because lets face it, there are not any good jobs open now. OR....
B) Goes into next season sucks it up and loses his job.

Nutt shows no improvement, gets his *** handed to him a third time and gets canned.

Ole Miss would be a perfect place for him to land. I doubt any elite program would be after him following his high profile departure from Michigan. Ole Miss being a lower tier in the best conference would be the fit.

Thoughts?

and I most definitely think he's getting fired day after the Gator Bowl. I might be concerned that he's past his prime. But he runs a type of offense that can be successful a school with mediocre talent. Recruits pretty well too and develops talent. I think he's fighting a battle with one arm tied behind his back at Michigan - bad move from the get go.

Is the West Virginia job still in limbo? It'd be just like those crazy mfers to hire him under Stewart as an OC or something - especially since he's probably a little depressed from all the punishment he's taken at Michigan.

I'd rather see that than Mike Leach. Leach still being available in 2011 scares me if Nutt sputters again.

I'm much more worried facing Leach than Malzahn at Ole Miss. But both would be able to recruit offensive players like crazy. Maybe Pete Boone has a plan after all.

Malzahn even looks like an Ole Miss coach. The light is clicking on.

I can't imagine he ends up there, but stranger things have happend.

I don't think he is past his prime. He's taken a team and totally rebuilt its offense from the ground up. Michigan wasn't even close to running what he runs on offense before he arrived.

I think he is a very good coach and very much like Mullen. If they did hire him, I think it would be a damn good hire and make things very interesting.

crazy to fire him at this point. He finally has their offense clicking so he can now focus on getting the defense up to par. When they switched from Lloyd Carr to Rich Rod there was a major shift in philosophy. They need to give him a little more time and I think they will be satisfied with the results.
