Anger already turned to apathy when Joker was coach. Stoops deserves another year at least but if the stadium is nearly empty and Vandy beats us 40-0 again, then we will be right back to where we were in '12. The mismanagement of our program is shameful and I don't know if the fanbase will always keep coming back.
I don't know the OP / drama queen but I don't care when he started his thread. He's not the only one that decided to jump ship after this year and he has every right to do so. If you've read this board and spoken to many UK fans you'd see that he and a huge amount of other fans prefer to now be called 'former' UK football fans. As I've said in a few other threads, a large number of so called regulars and longtime UK football fans have decided to spend their time and money elsewhere. You can blame MB or whomever you wish but they got us to buy in and spend a ton of money to become "all in" with the "we're just getting started bro" fiasco and they screwed up. Mark Stoops is one of, if not the worst coach in D-1 football and he's clueless. The football program is broken and neither Stoops or Barnhart can fix it. When you see the new state of the art stadium half full next year as we continue to get curb stomped you may think back and understand why a lot of us are taking our time and money elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, if you want to keep supporting this team I really respect your right to so but they don't deserve my time and money.

I don't think any serious recruit would allow a random post on a message board to effect his decision. He'd probably take a look at the past 40 years as an example of the dumpster fire that this program is.
Good riddance to the OP. I've always said that UK fans that want it easy should go become Alabama fans or maybe OSU fans since they are closer to Lexington. Real fans stay with the team regardless, even if we voice our displeasure with the AD or coaches at times.
To be fair, that's the equivalent of continuing to go to a restaurant even when they spit in your food, the food sucks and you get terrible customer service.
I'm still going to follow the 'Cats, that won't change; but I haven't been in that stadium since we beat UT three, four years ago and don't intend to return until I see WITH MY EYES some signs that there is a real SEC football team in blue and white
With the rise of the long-downtrodden BENGALS in Cincinnati the NFL looks like a pretty reasonable place to spend some fall afternoons going forward; and it's not much of a drive from either Louisville or Lexington to get to PB Stadium (which is pretty nice in its own right)

Not trying to be a smart *** but I don't think UK fans necessarily want it "easy" as much as they want the tiniest sliver of hope that we'll become competitive. Everybody knows that most every program rebuilds on occasion. But MB has done a poor job with the football program and Stoops is a prime example. Look at next year's schedule and you'll see that we may have a worse record next year than we had this year. Things are awful in our football program..... again.

Well like someone already said, "Bye". The more of you that leave and refuse to purchase season tickets the better chance I have of getting better seats. I started going in 1968. I agree there have been more down years than ups but UK is my University and I will be a fan till my last breath. After the U of L game I was ready to in the towel but where could I go. No way could I ever support those Dirty Birds and that ugly Pumpkins Orange make me want to throw up. Go to Ohio State not in my life time. I'm a UK fan, not half and half. I'm all in with every sport at UK. If they wear UK on their uniforms I'm all in. Go Big Blue.

I'm sorry but I'd don't believe this theory. It the years I've been a season ticket holder UK is 93-135. We've struggled for a very long time.
I'm a fan, I just debating if I want to be a season ticket holder anymore. I think I've earned the right.
