Our expectations should, and are, based solely on this years merit. Let's take TCU as an example. They did everything they were asked to do as a Non-AQ (dominate their schedule, save a few close wins). But right now because of extenuating circumstances (someone rented a mule) they don't get their chance to play in the NC. But since they're ranked higher than last year, and will be in a better BCS game that isn't against the other Non-AQ they should be happy? No, 17 that. A screwing is a screwing is a screwing.

just like Boise State had they not lost. Just because you have not lost should not be the only criteria for playing at the top. If it was every swinging dick team in the country would schedule a soft team. It's bad enough in some of these conferences already.

Just like Big east should not get a BCS game with those sorry teams either. But it is what it is until they make some changes.

The SEC and the Bowls should put a little tighter guidelines on who the bowls can take in the SEC to stop this horse **** from happening next year....
