The media puts out one side of the story and EVERYONE jumps on it. Especially when that side of the story paints a rosy picture that hits on a hot topic. I don't know the whole story, but living in Simpson Co. (not in Mendenhall) I do know there is more to the story. I will reserve my judgement until the full story comes out. <div>
</div><div>We sit here and slam the media for not telling the whole story when State looks like the bad guy in this Newton saga, but then turn right around and do the exact same thing that we are screaming against here. But I guess that's really not all that surprising.</div><div>
</div><div>Again let me state that if the media is telling the WHOLE story, then yes the coach should be fired, damages paid, and the school closed (actually Mendenhall is a big rival so close the school anyway. heh...ok don't really close it). But being on the other side of the fence before, I can say that the media can pretty much paint any picture they want before all the facts come out.</div>
