If it`s true I would run it by the team captains then let the entire team vote (secret ballots) on it before I made my decision. I would then have a very narrow set of criteria for him to meet. It could work out but it would be a long shot IMO.

Do we know that Quay was/is really a "cancer" though? As far as I understood, all his problems were confined to himself. I could be missing a lot, but I didn't think he was negatively influencing anyone else. If he was, I don't think Mullen and co. would have allowed him to stick around as long as he did.
