will bring out a rejuvenated team. They looked lethargic Saturday and not only did Bama beat us twice, Missouri beat us like a red-headed step child. The energy was lacking from the tip.
Yup. I think this is going to be a turning point for the season one way or the other. Either our problem is we're just worn down and we come out of it refreshed and take care of business the second half of the schedule, or we have some other problem and we continue on our current trajectory.I think the week off is very much needed for this team. Schedule the rest of the season is still tough, but more manageable than the first half was.
Agree. Either we respond and have a good season and a good seed in the tournament, or we're looking at 7-11 SEC and a play in game.Yup. I guess since we didn't play them in football this year, the Bama basketball team assumed the role of beating us twice in one game. It's been happening in football as far back as I can remember. ***will bring out a rejuvenated team. Not making excuses, but I think it's worth noting that Mizzou's mid-week bye was last week.will bring out a rejuvenated team. They looked lethargic Saturday and not only did Bama beat us twice, Missouri beat us like a red-headed step child. The energy was lacking from the tip.
missed that, glad you pointed it out, and yes it is 100% worth notingNot making excuses, but I think it's worth noting that Mizzou's mid-week bye was last week.
They haven’t quit. They were never as good as folks made them out to be. We don’t have a true pg, don’t have any physical bigs and still lack shooters. On top of that we don’t run an offense designed to put guys in a position to succeed. And when you factor in all of our defensive liabilities then it’s just a mediocre team that played well for a couple of games.I am afraid this team has quit. We will see in the first 5 minutes against Georgia if they have.
They had one bad game and they quit? No lolI am afraid this team has quit. We will see in the first 5 minutes against Georgia if they have.
Good summary. Hopefully State can get to 8 wins and get a decent ncaa seed. Then hopefully the sec is as good as everyone says, and State can win a game in the tournament. They haven’t quit. We are bottom 1/4 talent wise in the conference, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing this year. But they definitely haven’t quit.
Don't be ridiculous. They had a bad game against a good team. It happens. They didn't quit vs Alabama the game before.I am afraid this team has quit. We will see in the first 5 minutes against Georgia if they have.
