Do any riverhead standouts ever go off to play college football i never hear anyone talk about former players. Or is high school football the highlights of those kids lives.

Mike Herndon is a starting offensive lineman for the Pitt Panthers. He graduated in 2014 I believe and was a 4 year starter for Riverheads. They have had quite a few play at smaller schools. Big Mike who we all call him has an agent and is a possible NFL prospect.
Well mike Herndon plays at Pitt , David king plays at liberty , ridge stokes plays at wva Wesleyan , chandler branch is at AB in wva , dalton Jordan is at concord .
David King also a 2014 graduate played at Division 1 Liberty. Those are the only 2 I can think of off the top of my head who played Division 1.
Had two boys play at VMI their names have left my mind (old age ) longtimer probably knows their names

Thanks fencepatrol because when I saw that baseball was asking me for Tommy's name, it momentarily escaped me. To continue the discussion, I think we had somebody many years ago that played at the Naval Academy and I also think I vaguely remember someone who played for N C State, but both those go back a longgggg time, if I am even remembering correctly at all. One of them might have been a big tackle or guard named Fitzgerald, but don't quote me.
