I'm just going to say it... Too often, Devin is playing to get noticed

Some players can handle the limelight some players can't. Unfortunately Devin seems to be one of those who can't.

Williams has not put up the numbers recently and spends a lot of time on the bench. Is that what Huggins sees? He is a really great player but are you telling me that the spotlight is causing him vision problems? How does a player............'play to get noticed?' I ain't getting it.

Having several double doubles in a row went to his head and took him out of team mode. Seems obvious.

Well, it takes me a little longer to figure things out. To sum it up............when I work I work hard, when I play...........I play soft. When I thinks..........I fall to sleep. Warez

Not sure I see it in his play, but some of his post game comments, especially after games where he all but absent do make me think he is a little high on himself of late. Confidence is great, but your play on the court needs to back it up. Hopefully he can get back on track and put up quality numbers against elite teams like he did against Kansas and not UVA/OU.

Devin is still learning the limits of his capabilities. He needs to learn those limits and then play to his strengths within his limitations. But he'll have to do that on the court and not in interviews with the media.

Of late he has taken a bit of a step back, although he played great vs Kansas. Thought he was okay vs Texas.

At the end of last year Devin was playing like an All-American. He was scoring inside & out. Made so many plays over and over that were huge. Think he benefitted from playing with a true PG star in Staten.

His midrange game has gone away & now it's a little one-dimensional in the low post. I believe he'll bounce back.

As to leaving early, possibly even for Europe or whatever, I think it's a mistake. Never heard of guys foregoing senior season to go overseas. That opportunity should always be there for Devin.

I like WV's chances best when Devin is on the floor and not on the bench. I feel that Huggins has the team in the practice building correcting stuff right now.

i agree. Devin is a stud and can be a great player. He has been chippy. He needs to play without the chip. If not he will be just another player .
