In college basketball, if you can get the players and get them to play hard for you on both ends, 75 - 80% of your work is done. Rick had this during his great run, but since then, he either didn't have the players or had a constant circus. If Payne can recruit to Stansbury's level and also get their respect, we will win regardless of what kind of floor coach he is. We may run up against a well coached, talented team in the tournament and get beat, but that's fine with me. Step one is just getting there on a consistent basis.
