Not because I think that they're better overall, but because I expect them to be electrified Dragon Ball Z style for that game, and I just have a feeling that this thing is going to play out such that pretty much everything is on the line for that game. We've still got several tough games left, but I'm not looking forward to Oxford at all.

Edited to add: Well, this was supposed to be reply to the toughest matchup left thread, but oh well...

No doubt that game is the most likely loss. Their defense is outstanding. But I think we shut their offense down cold. I'm thinking a 20-13 MSU win, but it could go either way.

I was worried about it but now I am convinced that we will skull17 them.

Their leading rusher has barely over 200 yards. That sort of imbalance will catch up to them when our D-line does not have to respect the run and Bo Wallace will be pressured when he is probably already stressed out over having Nickoe's nuts in his face last year.

The only thing that has me worried is that it's a road game. Their defense is legit but their offense is ****.

Our d'line will eat their oline alive. I don't think we'll score very much, but they'll score even less. If Bo turns it over, their fans will be tearing down tailgates mid 4th quarter

I'm with you. I think we can use 6 guys to get to Bo and stuff whatever run game they try throwing at us. We can also stop the bubble screen. If they try these dink and dunk passes, they may be able to move the ball... But it's not sustainable.

We are going to have to keep them off balance defensively. Bama wasn't able to do that. I think we can break them down as the game wears on... But like I said... They start games with a stupid amount of hype. If you can weather the hype-laced basketball **** they throw at you and come out even, I feel like we've got a good chance. I don't care how much depth they say they have, they cannot physically go toe to toe with us for 4 quarters. They have a speed advantage, but that won't last all game. My hope is this year is just as cold as last year.

They can't

Run the footbal period, much less on us which makes them one dimensional. If your d line doesn't have to worry about runs or draws it creates problems. Pin the ears back.

I think if you pound their front then we can wear them out. Their secondary is a different story. Going to have to find some way to stretch them, keep them out of the box.

Even though Wallace hung pretty good with Damien Williams last year, I think 4 quarters of Dak (without an injured shoulder and having actually practiced) will mean plenty of time to listen to Kellum sulk through the second half on their drive home.

I feel like our defense will score as much as our offense. I think we have 2 pick 6 and our o scores 2 td. They may score once. I'm thinking its a 28-7 or 35-7 ballgame.

^^^^^ THIS IN SPADES.

"Dr. Bo" never managed a single offensive TD against us. All while we were playing our THIRD string QB the majority of the game.
They will be hyped for sure, but I'm confident that Dak will do what Dak does best and silence both critics and the opposition.

Bo Wallace won't be able to handle the pressure from our front 7, and i believe with the mix of our run and pass game, we will throw them for a loop. Also, Nkemdiche will be out of the game quick due to smoking a bong or a targeting on Prescott

I have to admit something - since changing your signature, I just sit here for about 5 good minutes staring at that dude in the Lakers jersey.

I find it mesmerizing for some reason.

Ole Miss has no run game at all. Check out this pic of Jaylen Walton and tell me it doesn't look like they trotted out a middle school kid at RB. Walton's listed as 5'8 and 166lbs. May God have mercy on him, because Chris Jones won't.

Don't worry about this game. We are going to whip their asses and I'm going to love every minute of it. The one way you beat a physical, over-aggressive, but undersized defense is to run right at it. They are good on the edges and good in the secondary, but a physical inside running attack can be successful. Bama would've beaten them if they would've stayed with their running game.

Their offense already sucks. The secret to creating bad Bo vs. good Bo is getting pressure on him. We will be able to do that with our front 4 against their offensive line. Most pundits know this, which is why we are the more frequent playoff pick.

Auburn is much better than Ole Miss - you will see that when they play - and we controlled the line of scrimmage against them.

We're going to roll Ole Miss. Their best season ever will include a egg bowl loss on their home field.
