He's dealing with an injury but nobody knows how serious. Parker said day to day but who knows?
The 3 and 4 seeds are in the winners bracket in the cross regional. We are the higher 3. If we do come out of Tallahassee and Oregon State doesn't come up through the losers bracket, we will likely host Southern Cal.
The Super regional will go wherever the NCAA wants it to go if both 1 seeds are already punched out.
IIRC correctly, if both 1 seeds are eliminated then the regional winners bid to host the Super. Gotta imagine our bid would look:

Think back to 2018 - we and Vanderbilt were both 2 seeds, and obviously any "bid" would have been better from us, but Vanderbilt hosted.

“Higher seed” is only the #1-4 seeds. If it comes doesn’t to us & USC, it could go either way. Committee may favor the higher bid, or just want a super regional out west, like they’ve done with regional sites.
The committee seeds everyone 1-64, they just don't release the full list like they do in basketball.
That's why Vanderbilt got to host over us in 2018. If bids meant anything, it would have gone to Starkville, but the committee had Vanderbilt seeded higher than us from the beginning, so they got it.
I like all this talk of hosting a super regional when we're +200 to win today. The dead injuns are licking their chops.
They don’t seed 1-64. If they did why would the site selection criteria call for the teams to bid to host if the two #1 seeds both lose?
Yeah. I don’t feel good about winning this game. And I think we have to win tonight to win the regional.
