The fact that he is in our starting lineup and playing 30 minutes in a conference game tells me all that I need to know about our basketball team. He has no business being in an SEC starting lineup. For previous reference, see Tyson Lee playing quarterback. Heart and effort can only take you so far. At a certain point, it takes talent.

He had a poor game tonight. Was the worst I've seen him play all year in conference but behind Dee he's far and away our best passer.

I agree on a really good team he's not a starter, but this year he's not been a liability in most games and has played solid defense, fed the post well and not turned the ball over for the most part.

I had some hopes for Bryant coming into the season, but he did not look good in early SEC play although he's picked it up some recently so there's still some hope there.

He's contributed more to us sucking this year than most people want to admit. I find the saying, "you're only as strong as you're weakest length" to be true, and he's definitely a weak link being a starter.

True, he hasn't been a liability, but he doesn't bring a whole lot to the table. He's just not SEC starting material. With season going the way it has been for a while now, Stans shouldve started getting younger guys for next year more experience bc in the long run they will be much better. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Benock, but he's a 6th or 7th man at best.

I've always considered Benock to be the type of player that hardly brings anything to the table but doesn't take anything from the table. No, he's not going to be the offensive juggernaut but he'll play solid defense and limit mistakes. A decent balance. He's not wasting space. He's not dominating space. He's just ... there. I have no problem having someone like that starting.

AA - yeah, went all Bill Simmons on y'all

with this post. Try to understand more about basketball then the obvious of who makes a shot and who gets a rebound. Benock is the most consistent player on our team. He had 2 turnovers from what I remember tonight. Bost turns it over a lot more but he scores more often so he gets a pass on stupid posts like this. Augustus turns the ball over all the time and I'd completely believe he has no thumbs because he gets the ball knocked out of his hands by the slightest touch but he gets a pass from stupid posts like this because he scores more often and gets more rebounds then Benock. Ravern Johnson is the single worst defender in recent memory for MSU but he gets a pass from stupid posts like this because he can make 3 3's a game. Seriously if Ravern doesn't have a pick set for him he will stand in the corner for 35 seconds. All Benock is asked to do is defend, provide solid minutes, pass the ball to the scorers, and not turn the basketball over. I'd say for what his role is he does a damn good job of it. He and Bost our are two most reliable players so kindly stfu. Thanks
