He's a really funny guy, but if you think the rug looks bad on TV, you ought to see it in person. Worse is the fact that he is a virtual invalid. About an hour into the evening, he asked where the men's and when he headed off to pee, it was like watching my 96 year-old. During the dinner part of the evening he was a funny f@ck who kept making smartass remarks under his breath throughout the entire event.
It's only been recently that Butkus has gone back to Chicago Bear events. Those sons of bitches wouldn't get him a decent surgeon to repair his knees.

a couple of years ago and I was floored. He had two guys with him helping him walk, sad way to end up.
Earl had surgery late last year that may help him. They had a story here on Austin sports showing him making good progress back in the fall.
