I'm tired of Mullen's infatuation with Favre...

I get why he is playing now but damn - let Russell lead the offense. It's ridiculous.

We go into camp with a "3 QB battle", even though we all expect Relf to start and build off of what he did last year. He's getting the majority of the 1st team snaps. Then against Auburn or LSU or whenever it happened, he got hurt seriously, started playing bad, and starting sharing snaps with Russell in practice and sharing time on the field. Then eventually Russell takes over, but Relf is used as a change of pace. Now Relf is totally out of the picture, Russell doesn't get to finish drives, and Favre is playing his biggest part in the offense so far this year.

When your QB position is fluid, your team doesn't have a unifying leader, it has a bunch of people confused about who is in charge and who to rely on to make the plays necessary to win.I said at the beginning of the year we needed a leader at QB for a Dan Mullen offense to work. We don't have that right now with the substitution patterns at QB, and Mullen has zero trust in his offense. That has to be demoralizing for an offense.

but the gloves bother me. What QB uses gloves? Are his hands that small?

I mean, lets overlook the fact that the O Line is putrid. The recievers can't run routes, and when they--by some fluke--manage to get open can't catch.

Russell can't get a decent pass off. Relf can't pass at all. Favre is a happy medium. He's shifty and can make a play. Joe Montana and Dan Marino would look inept behind our line so we might as well go with the guy with a knack for getting out of trouble.

Side note: how bad are our WRs? They aren't coached to go after the ball. They wait for the ball to get to them. Watching Arkansas and their quality receivers really showed how poor we are in that department regardless of protection for our QBs.
