Science will win this eventually. Not worried.

Yep you're right...just like the past 80 years of accurate Scientific predictions forced the "global warming" alarmists to change the name to "climate change".

Maybe Science will suggest they change the name again 80 years from now to "anomalous propagation"?

(Anomalous propagation (sometimes shortened to Anoprop) includes different forms of electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation that are not encountered in a standard atmosphere due to a non standard distribution of temperature and humidity with height in the atmosphere.)

Won't take that long. Biggest obstacle right now is getting Biff to open a science book and realize the climate change initiative, clean air act and other sciencey things are real. If he doesn't ever figure it out, next guy will. This is right up there with proving that the world isn't flat. Science won then too.

They're as real as unicorns, leprechauns or whatever else you want to believe in.

The Earth decides when the ice melts and we don't control the Earth's mechanisms.

No one believes the climate doesn't "change". The question is does man change it?

Well, no more than he could change the shape of the Planet before some guy who was a slave to Magellan figured it out.

Rick Perry acknowledged in his hearing that climate change was real and that mankind had a role in it.

Like I said, science will eventually sort this out. Working in the world of natural resource management, I completely understand the complexity of this issue and appreciate the difficulty we face right now in understanding these data. But one day we will have it figured out.

But I also understand that Trump cast it aside simply because it interfered with his agenda. That was obvious.

Our kids will have a good handle on this.

If we're causing the planet to heat up because of our economic, transportation, and manufacturing activity...then once we figure out exactly what kind of activity is causing it (planet) to heat up, logically you can assume we'll know exactly what to do to cool it back down.

Fact is we haven't figured out how to do either yet! The planet warms up and cools down on its own without any direction from us either way. We are powerless to cool it off when it heats up, and we're clueless over how to heat it up when it's cooling down.

No, this is not equivalent to flat earther's. Ridiculous statement. We will have a chance over the next 4 to 8 years to find out what theories hold water and which don't. We will find out what data manipulation has occurred by NOAA and NASA. Man made global warming is still a theory. The climate is very complex. The models used to predict warming have all been wrong. No warming by satellite and weather balloon measurements in 18 years. Some scientists now believe we will enter a little ice age because of a lack of solar activity. Brilliant scientists like Freeman Dyson, Judith Curry, Roy Spencer and many, many more don't agree with the man made global warming theory. They all claim that actual data does not support the theory. This is NOT settled science as the politicians and warmists claim.

We have found common agreement on the fact that the science is not yet clear and won't be for many, many years. Our climate is far too complex and climate science is relatively new. We may one day figure out man's role, if any, in the slight warming that has occurred.

Trump is casting aside the alarmists that want to destroy fossil fuels on a theory, an unproven theory. We need lots more evidence and supporting data before even considering such drastic actions. We can work on technology to continue to clean fossil fuels to continue to clean our air and water. This isn't an either or situation.
