“One incredible non-uniform”

Was it bc they thought it would be smoldering hot and those uniforms are probably the last thing one would want to wear in those conditions? Still, would like to know if LSU and UF bands wear uniforms.

Kids can super score now. A 30 isn't as difficult as it once was.
It’s still not easy… I knew it was 4% of the 2025 class at our HS. Apparently we’re a little low…

Just drop the disco and golden oldies. 90% of our fans weren't alive when Donna Summer was making terrible music. Playing stuff from the last 30 years shouldn't be a big ask.

Why the 17 are we still talking about this?

Should the FMB modernize? Perhaps.

Do I care? It's not a complete no, but also not a resounding yes.

My mother was a sorority sister of an erstwhile, I presume, FMB band leader. This person could be one of the old leadership "holding everything back." I was reintroduced to her at every game we attended, home & away. I could ask my mother to forward @615dawg 's concerns to her.

But why?

The answers & changes y'all seek aren't here on this board.

Rant over. I opened & chose to comment on the thread. That's on me.

LSU wore their full uniforms Saturday.

Riddle me this 6 packers!

Why is it that the fat kid, or in this case senior citizen, always gets stuck playing the tuba?

Seriously though, a third of the band has an ACT of 30+? Wow
It's easier to score high on the ACT now. You can compile your top scores from multiple tests. I don't know all the details, but I think if you have say a low score in Math, you can study up on math, take the test, bomb the other sections, and have your high math score replace a previous score.

I wonder if he is like their grandpa and they all love him, or he's like some other old pervs I won't name sniffing the freshmen flag twirlers' hair during practice. Either way, I bet he's having the time of his life.
They love him, I watched a YouTube video last night. It showed the whole tuba section going bonkers when they announced that he had made it. He played tuba 50 years ago and had to relearn it. He has been running 25 miles a week to get in shape. He started 3 years ago getting ready to do it. It's a great story

Well that feels like cheating. Back in my HS days I took that damn test 6 times trying to get my score up to a 30. Everytime I'd gain a point on science I'd lose a point on English and end up with the same score as the previous time.

My kid is one of them. I wonder what percentage of the band has a 34 though?

And here I didn't even make a 20 on the english section of the ACT.
