That is why you have to tough to be a State Fan.
I believe in looking at football starting in 1980 (after full integration), but we'd probably still be in that 8-10% category.
Not sure where you are getting that but I looked at two different sources and it was 19. Am I missing something?
I know the great Dan Mullen only had one winning season in the SEC while at MSU.
I was looking at our history with SEC games. We were 4-4 last season so we were not above .500 for example.
Lots of sarcasm here. The reality is that if Leach had a once in a century QB at MSU (like a Dak air version/Tim Couch), he would’ve won 10 last year and probably this year too.
Hard to get over losing to South Alabama at home while wearing shorts.
Don't forget to add back all of the forfeits...won on the field loss on the record book. Back in the day we were the whipping boy for the NCAA if a blue blood got in trouble. **
How many of those 89 years have we played Bama? Many of the home games played off campus and some home games played in the State of Alabama. I guess it was a cheap trip.
Nah, QB isn't why we lost many games last year. Our inability to run it cost us and so did our defense one game. Our offense went backwards last year.
Sadly, I don't expect the next 89 to go much better, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. HailState!

Leach had the QB he wanted. He had plenty of opportunities to bring in someone to replace him and never did.
The only 2 losses we should have had last year were Alabama and Georgia. We gave the LSU game away and lost to UK when we shouldn't have.
