....I don't anyone was counting on Andrew White's 17.5 ppg happening in Syracuse and not Lincoln...injuries/youth aside, EVERYTIME I see AW3 playing for Syracuse, I cringe....

You knew he could score, but he really didn't like to play D. The orange zone is perfect for him, plus this has let some of the young guys playing experience which will be valuable next year. I'm excited at the prospect of next year if the coaching staff stays in tact
I think it is a silver lining that White left. Would Nebraska have won a few more games if he was here? Most likely. But I do think the few games missed out on may really be worth it when we move into next year. The experience these young guys are gaining should pay off significantly next season.
We had him and Shavon last year and still finished with a losing record. I don't think we would have a significantly better record with him this year. Perimeter defense has been a big issue for us this year and he wouldn't help us much in that area.
