The UGA commit of whom you speak? .........................................

Don't reply "Tunsil" because Mississippi will not be signing Tunsil.

Unless they are guarenteeing him immediate starting playing time, I don't see it. You only have two years. Why sit on the bench and watch their six 4-5 star receivers start in front of you? OSU is wanting him for an injury back-up plan. We need him to be our go to guy.

Jalin Marshall 5 star Commit #6 overall
Mike Thomas 4 star Fr (3 years)
Devin Smith 4 star So (2 years)
Evan Spencer 4 star So (2 years)
Corey Brown 4 star jr (1 year)
Tyrone Williams 4 star So (2 years)

Wow they are loaded!

Why are they after a JUCO WR if they aren't offering immediate playing time??

Sorry, but he's gone. If Urban felt great about his WR situation, then he wouldn't be after Smith.

Well, I guess they could tell him anything. He would be better served looking at both rosters for each school. See how many seniors are graduating and going from there. Two years is a very small window.

I bet Mullen wishes he had not pushed Scott Austin away if we don't get Ross or Jason Smith.

Any chance we can persuade Austin to come back?

I agree he is likely gone-and mostly because he is an Ohio kid. I was hoping his courses wouldnt transfer- that had been the hold-up and cause for concern on the Ohio State side...maybe playing in the SEC keepshim here- but I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe this is why we are on the Ok State commit so hard

It's not a sure thing that we lose him in this situation... Need to let it play out -- per his coaches at EMCC...

Sucks to lose. Was the only difference-maker WR in the class. Would have been as good as Bumphis on day 1 IMO.

Guess his mind was more made up than he'd been letting on, and apparently he's met admission standards up there, which is surprising from all I've heard...

23 commits with 22 spots. Someone's gonna be left out with no early signees. NCAA reduced their scholarships to 22 for the next two years.
